Heres how it works you put a banner on your site and for every 2 times it is shown yours gets shown, the more yours is shown the more people are likey to click on it. Also they pay you to refer people and they give you extra credits for banner exposures when you get people to visit there website from an image like the one below.

I also use popuptraffic.com they pay a referal rate of 5% and pay you to put html code on your site that produces a pop up or a pop under. Popunders are like popups but they apear in the background rather than over the main window. There is also an option to have both which pays $5CPM which is higher than internet average. Another service i recomend to webmasters are topsitelists they are rankings of sites which have similar subject to yours. You get a vote by sending a visitor to the vote gate way the more votes you get the higher in the rankings you will be and the more likley vistors from other sites will go to your site.
